Pronunciation focus for Bengali speakers
Bengali speakers often say /v/ as 'bh' ('bhery' for 'very'), mix up /s/ and /ʃ/ ('sip' and 'ship'), round the short 'a' towards 'o', and make little difference between long and short vowels ('sit' and 'seat'). The /z/ sound is often replaced by 'j'.
The Teaching Phonetics and Live Phonetics courses show you how to work on these features with your learners, and with your own pronunciation. See also what mother tongue influence is.

What is the TEFL course fee in Kolkata?
APTTI's fees are the same in Kolkata as anywhere in India: the TEFL/TESOL Certificate is ₹12,000 + GST (USD 199 for international learners), the Diploma ₹18,000 + GST (USD 299 for international learners), and each 60-hour specialist certificate ₹9,000 + 18% GST (USD 130 for international learners).

Can I do TEFL in Kolkata without a degree?
